Mass produced watering cans using blow moulding technology are designed by engineers and are sold and marketed in big box retailers. Our intent was to utilise the technology to design a shape that would have been impossible to produce in another method or material. Two intersecting cones create the body and replace a traditional handle. The section of the body also has a curved bottom providing additional grip when tipping the can to pour. The result is a vase like shape with a 2L volume.
